Lead Educator
Kids Academy is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic lead teacher who has experience teaching young children. Teachers plan and work with children to develop the skills needed for Kindergarten and beyond.
Kids Academy classrooms are Reggio-inspired, giving teachers the flexibility to design classroom environments and lessons based on personal style and individual children’s needs.
Responsibilities Include:
Design and implement a play-based, Reggio-inspired curriculum for the classroom, using the training and resources provided for you.
Build open and positive relationships with parents, children, coworkers, and management. Be a positive force in your work environment!
Develop authentic assessment strategies for the children in your care, and maintain a portfolio for each child to document progress in multiple areas of development.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and joyful classroom environment.
Requirements Include:
Minimum of 2 years combined education & experience
Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification within 3 MONTHS of the first day of employment
Prior experience in early education preferred, but exceptional candidates with no experience will be considered
Be a team player and contribute positively to your classroom and the school
Assistant Educator
Kids Academy is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic assistant educator. This person assists the lead teacher in planning and working with children to develop the skills needed for Kindergarten and beyond. The assistant must be flexible and comfortable working with all age groups. You can look forward to having input in the classroom and school and making a difference in the lives of the children and families you work with every day.
